It's time for another round of creative fun over at CASology and this week we're going with a shape!
My first thought was a smiley face...just because I love smiley faces, but I didn't take that thought anywhere. DS3 was my inspiration for this week's challenge. I am attempting potty training with him for the second time and he picked out Mickey Mouse underwear at the store. All of a sudden, it hit me! The outline of Mickey's head consists of three circles! How's that for a spontaneous light bulb moment?!
Here's what I came up with:
I have a couple of brothers and their wives that get down to Disney World at times and am going to save this card for one of them! The sentiment is one from Paper Trey and is the only thing stamped! I simply used two different sized circle punches to create the head and ears, glued them to the main panel and then layered that panel on a little red. Red just seemed to be necessary for a Mickey Mouse theme!
I hope you'll take a little time and visit the rest of the design team and guest designer blogs this week! They've come up with some fantastic interpretations of the cue word! Then, be sure and link up your own CIRCLE creation by Sunday at 4:00 p.m. (CST)!
