I am a busy mother of three with a wonderful husband who helps me keep life in perspective. I've always loved the creative side of life. As a child, I loved to trace, color and create little projects using storybook images. As I got older, I ventured into poetry and writing. In high school, I received the honor of having a poem placed in a National Library of Poetry publication. These days, I don't take the time to write much poetry, but enjoy blogging. I added card making, scrapbooking and quilting to my list of creative activities during my college days. Quilting is something I've put on hold for a while as parenting has a way of reducing the amount of free time a girl has. I still sew a few stitches here and there, but a quilt now takes me a couple of years to complete rather than a couple months. Scrapbooking is something I aim to pick up the pace with, but, for now, card making is my main creative outlet and I'm enjoying every moment.
